The Writers Telesummit 2008

Creativity coach and author Eric Maisel and two colleagues have teamed up to present the Writers TeleSummit 2008, Thursday, September 4th through Sunday, September 7th, 2008. I’ve found Maisel’s books on creativity and self-coaching to be really helpful. I love the clarity of the steps he offers to demystify the creative process. When I read the list of 24 presenters, I was impressed. Among them:

  • Eric Maisel will talk about “Writing and Selling the Nonfiction Book.” This should be inspiring.
  • Agent and author Jeff Herman has written one of the best guides to writing book proposals. His talk “Finding the Right Literary Agent” will no doubt be filled with great information.
  • CM Mayo is an essayist and author whose work I admire. Her talk will be “Writing and Selling the Travel Memoir.”
  • Lee Silber’s book Organizing from the Right Side of the Brain is on my highly organized bookshelf and has helped me get my act together. He’ll be speaking on “How to Handle Rejection.”

There will be twenty-four speakers, 24 sessions. six one-hour sessions over four days, conveniently scheduled to suit your needs whether you live on the East Coast, the West Coast, or anywhere in between. (And if you live elsewhere in the world: all sessions are recorded.)

I plan to attend and have chosen to be an affiliate to resell registrations. If you would like to attend, you can sign up through me with this link. Also, be aware that you can be an affiliate as well if you like by going to the TeleSummit home page and clicking on Affiliate Sign up.
